Early Detection & Prevention Specialists
Preventive care is a core focus across all Heart and Health specialties. Our onsite diagnostic capabilities include EKG, echocardiography, vascular ultrasound, nuclear cardiology imaging, pulmonary function testing, allergy skin testing, and on-site blood draw – reducing the need to visit separate facilities for routine workups. Annual physicals consist of blood pressure assessment, full blood panel, body oxygen saturation, and vaccination services.
Among our practices, hypertension, coronary artery disease, asthma, allergic rhinitis, diabetes and thyroid disorders, peripheral vascular disease, chronic wounds, and musculoskeletal injury are common conditions that are managed. Our vascular laboratory is accredited for non-invasive vascular testing. Our cardiology team includes physicians board-certified in both Cardiovascular Diseases and Nuclear Cardiology.

Yes. Heart and Health Medical is now accepting new patients in all five of our offices on Long Island. You may make an appointment online or call your closest location. Our EXPRESS Care program may include same-day availability.
In many cases, yes. Express Care is a service that targets patients who have to be seen immediately – due to an urgent illness, a follow-up issue, or a symptom that cannot be deferred. At our offices, and via telemedicine, there are same-day slots.
Telemedicine also enables you to see your Heart and Health provider through a video from the comfort of your home, office, or any other place connected to the internet. Telemedicine visits are available via our patient portal or via the Heart and Health mobile application. It can be used in most routine follow-ups, medications and non-emergency appointments.
It is determined by your insurance plan. There are those plans where a primary care physician is required to give a referral before a specialist is seen and there are those plans where referral is not needed. Due to the availability of both primary care doctors and specialists in the same group, referrals can be done promptly within our network. Call our office or review your insurance plan.
The Heart and Health Mobile Medical Unit is a fully furnished mobile medical unit that delivers medical assistance to communities across Long Island. It is especially beneficial in cases when patients are unable to travel to an office because of mobility problems, transport difficulties, or any other factors. Get in touch with us to enquire whether the mobile unit covers your area.
